Seven and six newborns were treated respectively in each phase. The number of treatment using paracetamol (5/7 versus 2/6) was reduced and behavioural strategies were increased and diversified (2/7 versus 4/6) in phase 2. Conclusion : The institution of a protocol has led to a better evaluation of prolonged pain in term neonates in delivery room and an increase of treatment behavioural strategies versus paracetamol.
