Corrosion feuilletante d'aluminium pour aéronautique : étude en vue de la caractérisation 3D

Abstract : The various aeronautics Cu, Li and Zn-aluminium alloys provided by company Alcan Tinto have been exposed to CI environments within ocean sites at EADS, Alcan and Institut de la Corrosion. This exposure made it possible for us to implement an approach of layer corrosion's morphological characterisation. Quantification exfoliation methods are applied by using a visual examination of "G34 Norm"' surfaces and micrographic cross sectional areas. First method is subjective whilst the second (local) one doesn't really reproduce the whole sample. From the G34 test, we reproduced a blister kinetic simulation on a 2198T8 alloy by using a script including the mentioned analysis method. As a continuation of this work, we developed a controlled abrasion tool enabling to account for the real 3D morphology, both regarding the blister reconstruction as well as the intergranular corrosion trajectory.
