Comparaison et évaluation de l'état néonatal des enfants africains et caucasiens. Intérêt d'une prise en charge plus précoce

Abstract : Nowadays the ethnic term is still an hypothesis. It seems to be useful to consider it until to assure the best care for babies. Our study aims to compare neonatal state between African and Caucasian newborn. For that reason, we studied many morbidity items before and after birth. Our study shows that the babies adjustment after birth is the same between our two populations. However, we found more African newborn having post maturity signs. Thus, we propose to test the glycemia to those newborns (is the metabolic side of dysmaturity syndrome). But those signs are not enough to change our practice concerning the timing of supervision and inducing labor. However, we propose, in the view of this difference of maturation, to follow systematically the HAS recommendations for sub-saharian African women. It would be about inducing African labor since 41 gestational week.
