Prise en charge des douleurs aiguës sévères par le médecin généraliste‎ : rapport du système "Médecin Correspondant SAMU" au sein du réseau des médecins de montagne

Abstract : Study objective: Evaluation of the advantage provided to the patient during a mobile practitioner related to the MICU (MP-MICU) intervention in relation with severe acute pain management. Methodology: It is an observational prospective study made during the 2009/2010 winter season comparing 2 groups of patients: one treated by MP-MICU and a second one treated by non MP-MICU. Results: 23 medical offices took part in the study and 101 patients were included. 70 were in the MP-MICU group and 31 in the MP-MICU group. The MP-MICU group reaches an 84.3% relief rate against a 64,5% in the non MP-EMA MP-MICU group. We found a statistically significant difference of p=0.026. Conclusion: The mobile practitioners system related to the EMA (Emergency Medical Assistance) in French north Alps offers a better severe acute pain management.
