Indeed, 60% to 80% of deaf people don't mastered writing language. Deaf writing difficulties are very numerous and different. This impressive illiteracy rate is a consequence of educative methods. These methods depend on government decisions. True enough, as we seen during our research, educative politic leads by the country defines deaf children education. In France, deaf children parents are free to choose what sort of learning they want for their children. We will show that these choices are decisive for the future of deaf child language.
