Le renouvellement du processeur vocal chez l'adulte implanté cochléaire

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the benefits from vocal processor upgrading in deaf adults with cochlear implants. Fourteen participants were evaluated with acoustic, speech discrimination and ecological tests. The findings suggest that vocal processor upgrading leads to finer speech perception which could be enhanced by rehabilitation so as to improve speech discrimination.
