Le véhicule de détection, d'identification et de prélèvement des Services Départementaux d'Incendie et de Secours : nouvelle réponse face à la menace bioterroriste
Résumé
Following the terrorist attacks of 2001, one response to the bioterrorist threat has been the emergence of new advocacy tools at both the national and international level. For firefighters, the building has resulted in the establishment in major French cities to a vehicle for the detection, identification and sampling of chemical, radiological and biological (VDIP). Like the management of chemical and radiological risks largely developed, the biological risk was hitherto summarized, among firefighters, as missions collection and management of the delivery of the levy to the reference laboratories defense areas where identification analyzes were performed. For now, if the analysis tools do not yet allow to transmit to the authorities of the results of reliable and rapid analysis, covering a wide spectrum of biological, biotechnological developments suggests a promising future in the next decade. To ensure monitoring of these innovations, an immersion in the field of biology, it is imperative to establish links with relevant persons and experts, such as laboratories Biotox-Piratox network. In the current state, the VDIP is not able to return a result that can happen analysis in reference laboratories. However, with the establishment of partnerships, trainings and experience, VDIP could become a key tool whose skills are not confined only to the part of bioterrorism.
