Adaptation des deux épreuves de conversation fictive du test des habiletés pragmatiques de B. Shulman pour les enfants de 8 à 12 ans

Abstract : Pragmatic determines the use of the language in a discussion. It enables us to provide correct and effective answers to an interlocutor during an exchange. It is an aspect of the oral language not to be neglected, however it can be seen that the tools designed for its evaluation remain limited, especially for older children. For this reason, it has been decided to adjust within this report two of the four tests stemming from the Test of pragmatic skills by B. Schulman. Originally aiming children ranging from 3 to 8 years old, this test has been modified in order to bring up to date an evaluation of social skills, which is pertinent for an older population ranging from 8 to 12 years old. The two tests created are fictional conversation trials, by using a "pretending" activity. They consist in a conversation in front of a cinema and a phone conversation. Basing this experimentation, the assessment of the relevance of the tool created from the hypothesis stated at the beginning can be determined. A critical appraising of this work is proposed, in order to allow further studies and an eventual normalization of the test in a near future.
