DVD d'enseignement des gestes écho-assistés de l'appareil locomoteur

Abstract : Ultrasonography has become a useful tool for Rheumatologist, as a diagnostic device and also therapeutic device in the fields of intra-articular injections. Many documents exist for learning ultrasonography as a diagnostic use, but few documents exist for the therapeutic use. This work, with the help of the Section Imagerie et Rhumatologie Interventionnelle de la SFR (SIRIS), aims at accompanying rheumatologists wanting to learn interventionnal ultrasonography. Methods: A systematic review of the literature was made to account for all the techniques of ultrasonographic guided intra-articular injections. We then wrote a script, with the explanation of more theoric aspects (such as the main complications of intra articular injections, what to do in case of anticoagulant or antiplatelet treatment, the rules of asepsis), and the more practical aspects for each articulations (explaining the position of the patient, how to position the probe, from the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot, sacro-iliac joint). Results: For each articulation, we made a description of what probe to use, how to install the patient, the anatomical landmarks, and the technique for the intra-articular injection with ultrasonographic guidance. Conclusion: This DVD is a useful tool for rheumatologists wanting to learn intra-articular injections with ultrasonographic guidance. However, it does not susbtitue official training.
