Fiabilisation des prévisions hebdomadaires de production de fraises en culture sur substrat

Abstract : Since 2005, the Valprim grower organization looks for reliability of its weekly production forecasts. The aim of these forecasts is to provide for salespersons an accurate awareness of available volumes, particularly when the season starts. The study focuses on the early production of the strawberry 'Gariguette' variety on soilless system. In order to offer reliable weekly production forecast, the study was divided into two axes. Firstly, the analysis of weekly production forecast compliance, secondly the establishment of references regarding the rate of fruits ripening. The improvement and development of media and lead tools would favor the involvement of growers and therefore the reliability of weekly production forecasts. These tools require the establishment of references regarding the dynamics of fruit ripening. The GDH, the 24h average temperature and the daily average temperature, under plastic, seem to influence advancement rate fruit maturity. Radiation variations, similar to the dynamics of production, would influence the speed of fruit ripening. These influences of climate and weathers factors are not visible on the weekly productivity because thus far; we don't know understand the factors that determine the average fruit weight.
