Je suis trop lourde... Ne me laisse pas tomber ! Le portage, médiation psychocorporelle dans la clinique de l'obésité infantile

Abstract : Marion is seven years old and suffers childhood obesity. Fetal and neonatal developmental problems have certainly hindered her psychomotor development, but may not completely explain her relationship difficulties. Through symbolic games that she invents during psychomotrician counseling, she seems to have a real need to be held and supported. This might reflect a lack of "holding", which Winnicott described as a fundamental factor to the harmonious development of the infant and its personality construct. Is the overweight at the origin of this absence, or is it the forward result of relationship troubles with her mother? Marion does not seem to be convinced concerning her own identity. One asks if psychomotricity might help her to feel again these previously lacking sensations leading to a harmonious development in order to build her own character to achieve autonomy?
