Quand le chemin des enfants dyspraxiques croise celui de la psychomotricité

Abstract : Dyspraxia is a handicap impairing the automation of gestures aimed at a specific goal, as well as their conceptualization and their performance. I have worked with three dyspraxic children which threw light on their disturbed psychomotor cores. I have noticed that the development of their identity was weakened and that clumsiness and self-esteem have an impact on each other. They really cannot do without the help of a psycho-motor therapist. By creating a speacial relationship with a dyspraxis child, the therapist takes into account the motor dimension, as well as the cognitive, psychic, affective and emotional ones, and enables the child to grow up and become autonomous.
