La marionnette : une médiation possible en psychomotricité. Le groupe "Corps en Jeux" auprès de sujets psychotiques

Abstract : Psychoses are the most severe psychiatric diseases which affect the patient in his intirety, due to a massive destructuration of the mind-body. In psychomotor therapy, mediation is commonly used. The psychomotrician uses tools he has already experienced himself or at least of which he knows precisely the characteristics, in order to come up with the most adapted practices for efficient care of the patients. During my training session, in the group of psychomotricity called "Corps en Jeux" involving patients suffering from psychosis, I have discovered the puppet as a mediation. Through its creation and its staging in the group, the entire personality of the patient is solicited. The puppet allows patients to focus on themselves, and to open up to the world to transfer from body sensations to spoken language, to reach symbolism by making the difference between reality and imagination and to encourage self-expression and the attention drawn to the others.
