"Je veux survivre !" : une expérience "ludique" du jeu vidéo en psychomotricité au sein d'un groupe de patients adultes souffrant de psychoses

Abstract : Psychoses are serious psychiatric illnesses which cause a loss of touch with reality. In Christian's situation, as he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, the relation with the other is particularly difficult: the delirium, the inability to understand others and the withdrawal into himself make his care harder and plunge him into apragmatism. However, he wants to take part in the Call of Duty® psychomotricity club every week. This club offers to patients time and room to meet, gather and share playful pleasure. Video games thus allow patients to cross back identifications and their own stories through the avatar and the club, to confront others in a game setting, and to guide them into an action of themselves. A genuine therapeuthical meeting is thus allowed within this club.
