L'expression corporelle et les personnes âgées : prise en charge groupale en psychomotricité, au sein d'un EHPAD

Abstract : When getting on in years, people can feel their abilities lessening. This is all the more important as it deals with pathological ageing. Faced with that reality which is often difficult to put up with, some people tend to neglect their 'ageing body'. That's why the body image and the self-expression abilities get smaller. Depreciating themselves, the elderly can also suffer side-effects on a narcissistic level. Moreover, they tend to cut themselves off from their environment. The aim of this report is to show how a self-expression through movement group can lead to bodily and narcissistic reinvestment and how it can help develop new social bonds.
