Pratiques contraceptives et grossesses à l'adolescence : étude comparative entre la Grande-Bretagne, la France et la Suède

Abstract : The decrease of teenage pregnancy rates is a major issue of public health policies in Europe. Our review of the literature was used to compare the effectiveness of policies to prevent teenage pregnancies in place in Great Britain, France and Sweden. That is also interested in the use of contraception by teenagers in these three countries. Social recognition of sexuality in Sweden and the important use of contraception in France have led to a decline of teenage births. Unlike Great Britain, which has a high rate of teenage births. The occurrence of teenage pregnancy is explain by the lack and the use of inappropriate contraceptive methods. The promotion of appropriate contraceptive practices requires an information effort on sexuality and contraception from an early age, particularly through of sexuality Education programs.
