Les performances aux RAN, prédictives des performances scolaires ?

Abstract : Our study focuses on the RAN and its supposed predictive capabilities of academic performances. First, we gave RAN tasks of different items and then academic tests: language (reading, writing) and arithmetic exercises two months later. Samples involved are two groups of children mill in CP and CE1 with a total of 93 subjects. Our results show significant correlations between RAN and academic tests. Moreover the correlations reinforce between CP and CE1, attesting the RAN's quality as a predictive tool of learning processes. We have to consider Rapid and Automatized Naming as an effective tool for screening, relevant in speech therapy.
