Analyse du signal myoélectrique pour l'évaluation de la fatigue périphérique chez des nageurs de haut niveau en demi-fond : étude des variations électromyographiques et cinématiques sur un test à dominante aérobie d'un nageur expert

Abstract : The aim of the present study was to analyze the peripheral fatigue of swimmers specialists on middle-distance swimming on a continuous long duration intense exercise. Three males national level had carry out a 2000m swim aerobic exercise. The fatigue evaluation had carry out by electromyography measures in maximal isometric contraction on land (RMS and MDF) and dynamometry on two positions (Insweep and Downsweep) on right side (Pectoralis Major, Latissimus Dorsi, Posterior Deltoïdeus). Performances were also analyzed. A 2D biomechanical analysis was carried out on the most experimented swimmer to link EMG data to technical disorders. Results showed MDF decrease after swimming exercise, whereas RMS remained constant. Only one swimmer acheived to the performance wanted. Biomechanical analysis showed a decrease in stroke rate, an increase in cycle duration without velocity variation. These data show a muscular fatigue on swimmers that can be explained by contextual factors (measurement device, training charges). Improvement of experimental protocol could give useful informations to coaches for fatigue analysis of their athlete to adapt their training programs.
