Végétations et séries de végétation du Haut-Venacais (Haute-Corse) : typologie, cartograpie et analyse diachronique

Abstract : A national program vegetation mapping (CarHAB) was initiated by the french Ministry of Ecology, in 2011. This work has aim to map the vegetation and vegetation series of France at the scale of 1: 25 000, and that by 2025. In this context, Corsica is a "pilot" region for the particularies of its mediterranean and alpine vegetations. This training, realised with the “Conservatoire Botanique National de Corse”, is integrated in this CarHAB national program and takes place in a study area located in the heart of Corsica (Haut-Venacais). The methodology used in this study consists of three phases combining technical and research aspects : a phytosociological sigmatiste methodology to understand vegetations, symphytosociological methodology to apprehend series and a mapping methodology. 365 taxa were identified and 102 phytosociological releves were carried out. The analysis of releves helped to identify 46 plant associations and 2 vegetation groups. 29 releves were realised throughout the study area, allowing the description of 18 series, 8 and 3 curtaseries permaseries. Finally, a vegetation map and a map of vegetation series were developed. In this work, a diachronic analysis of vegetations between 1981 (Gamisans J., M. Gruber, J. Claudin JB & Casanova, 1981) and 2014 was realised and constitutes an additional element to evaluate the state of conservation of this area (part of the "Massif du Rotondo" Natura 2000 area) and then, constitute a management support document.
