Utilisation du Pinus uncinata Mill. comme bio indicateur du climat passé dans le massif du Vercors

Abstract : The reconstruction of parameter climate is developed with Pinus uncinata Mill. as climate bio indicator. The tree-ring chronology is created with 300 samples in the Vercors massif for the period of 1775-2013. The comparison of this tree-ring chronology with meteorology data let of determines parameter condition growth of Pinus uncinata Mill. This species is mainly sensitive to precipitations of Jun and July for the period 1920-1970. With pluviometry parameter of HISTALP data, this period is used for the reconstruction calibration and reconstruction verification. This reconstruction models the mean deviation precipitations of June and July. Analysis of low and high growth indices, compared to dry years and wet years, permit to highlight the limitations of such reconstruction. Characteristics years are compared to instrumental data from Villard-de-Lans and Autrans to validate the reconstruction. It’s mainly found that the limiting factor of Pinus uncinata Mill. growth evolves in time. The reconstruction model is better for dry years than wet years. Finally, the chronology constituted of 30000 tree-rings is the first reference in the Vercors massif.
