Application de la méthode de réconciliation de données aux modèles EDF Modelica

Abstract : Most of EDF projects concerns power plants in operation (e.g. upgrading of energy production, improving reliability, ...) and the construction of new facilities (nuclear, renewable sources, ...). In this context, EDF has developed considerable expertise in modeling and simulation of power generation facilities. This expertise is based mainly on the modeling of different processes at a 0D/1D scale via the Modelica language. A current research focus of EDF R&D is to improve its systems knowledge by comparing theoretical predictions with actual data issued from on-site sensors thanks to the data reconciliation technique. Currently, EDF studies in data reconciliation are achieved through the commercial software VALI which requires to re-implement the model in its own formalism. More than a waste of time, the main disadvantage of this implementation is that, firstly, the models developed cannot be reused for other studies and, secondly, the formalism of VALI is based on a modeling using "gray boxes" that does not allow a complete mastery of the physical model equations. Within the framework of the OpenProd project, the objective of this work is to study the application of data reconciliation to EDF Modelica models through the introduction, in the language, of the notion of uncertain variable. This work consists of : the study of new EDF requirements formulated from the features of the VALI software ; an upgrade of the OpenProd prototype allowing the application of data reconciliation to Modelica models ; the study of the consideration of the notions of observability and redundancy by the OpenProd prototype ; and the validation of the new prototype features on simplistic test cases representative of EDF needs for modeling power plants.
