Entre objet naturel et objet technique, quelle place pour l’arbre en ville ?

Abstract : The tree appeared gradually in the urban public space, to be deeply connected today. There are many reasons to plant trees in urban areas: environmental, social, landscape, etc. But these plantations are often made at the expense of living necessary for the tree. Today, many cities are interested in this piece of urban nature and realizes charters and inventories. But in the reality of the urban project, the amount is still preferred to the quality of new plantations. The preservation of existing trees is also a problem in many projects due to lack of knowledge. The private tree is hardly considered in urban planning, yet it represents a large portion of the urban heritage trees.
