La formation des guides de haute montagne depuis 1948. À la croisée des évolutions sociétales du savoir faire de l’ENSA et de la profession de guide

Abstract : Formation evolve in a dynamic context, in wich interfuse sociocultural, economic, and professionnal factors. On the occasion of 70 years of the french national school of ski and alpinism, this study analyses the guides formation since 1948. Starting by the evolution of the formation, the study brings to light social and cultural dynamics which affect the professionnal group. The study also interviewed 18 people met. Results show several steps in the history of the formation, and the evolution of knowledge and transmission mode. It transcibes a professionalization of the activity, which evolve with sociocultural dynamics, and a professionalization of the individual. Formation built a space in which evolve the dynamic of the professionnal group, with tensions in the corporation and between professionnal groups. Formation is both a tool and a stake for guides, but also a discussion forum in which cross territorial and professionnal issues.
