La technique "flapless" : intérêts et limites de la chirurgie implantaire sans lambeau

Abstract : Nowadays, it seems more and more essential to try to improve implant surgery techniques, in order to be able to reduce surgical traumatism and foresee its consequences. Indeed, it has been demonstrated that conventional implant surgery - with flaps - may cause many harmful modifications especially for peri-implant mucosa and bone. "Flapless implant surgery" shows several benefits such as allowing to secure a better vascularization, to limit initial bone losses and to minimize post-operative traumatism. However, the lack of per-operative visibility remains a major drawback for this technique, and may therefore restrain its use.
