Abstract : This memory is intended to all those who wish to discover the Tahitian culture and in particular the traditional song. Since many decades, the people of fenua draws various subjects from mythology or daily life and then occurs during major events like the Heiva I Tahiti. Find out what are the characteristics of these non-European voice, how these songs are interpreted, what is the impact of the oral tradition on musical culture and the place of the traditional song on the island and in other countries world.
