Comment rendre un apprenant qui suit une formation à distance autonome ? Le cas du CNED

Abstract : How does one make a learner who follows a distance learning programme autonomous? Our research is based in the field of distance learning; more particularly is being conducted at the CNED (National Center of Distance Learning) of Grenoble, a center specialized in distance teaching. Our research attempts to study the empowerment of learners through the educational scenario specially conceived for the FAD as well as if the provided assistance program helps facilitate their autonomy. Three aspects of autonomy are observed: the organizational, informative and social aspects. Another object of our research is language learning in a professional and distance context, which constitute one of the components of the two learning programs in question. Our study aims to improve tools that have already been put in place in order to favor communication in a distance learning program.
