Fœtus petit pour l'âge gestationnel et maturation cervicale : étude des modalités d'accouchement au CHU de Caen

Abstract : Objective : Study mode of delivery after cervical ripening with vaginal prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in pregnancies with foetus small for gestationnel age (SGA). Identify risk factors of emergency caesarian section (CS).
Methods : A retrospective study in the CHU of Caen between January 2012 and December 2013. Study regroups 132 women with suspected SGA (sonography with estimated weight or abdominal circumference below the 10th percentile) from 32 SA.
Results : Induction of labor with vaginal PGE2 results in vaginal delivery rate of 77%. Nulliparity, maternal pathology ans Bishop score lower increased risk of emergency cesarian section.
Conclusion : Principal mode of delivery after induction of labor with PGE2 is vaginal delivery. Risk factors of emergency CS are nulliparity, maternal pathology and lower Bishop score.
