En quête de sens, en quête de l’autre, en quête du moi : l’apport de la psychomotricité dans un groupe de sollicitations cognitives auprès d’enfants polyhandicapés

Abstract : Multiple disabilities greatly hampers the cognitive abilities of the person. The therapeutic work around this sphere is not to be overlooked. I personally participated in a cognitive solicitation group among two children with multiple disabilities supervised by a psychologist and a psychomotor therapist. The main objective of this group is to promote access to cognitive and physical representations of these children through sensory-motor activities. Access to communication and openness to the world are also covered. I then wondered about the contribution of psychomotor in this group. Indeed, the psychomotor therapist and the psychologist will have two distinct functions, but what is that of the psychomotor therapist ?
