60 ans après sa première commercialisation, le point sur la contraception hormonale à l'officine

Abstract : Since time immemorial women have used different methods, more or less effective to control births. But through research and the development of hormonal contraceptives, women have moved from contraception suffered a selected contraception. The road was long and filled with opponents, but in 1967 Mr Neuwirth managed to pass the legalization of contraception in France. This work is to trace the history of the use and evolution of contraceptives, especially hormonal. After a review of the physiology of the menstrual cycle and the different actors involved in this process monthly, various hormonal methods available on the market today will be identified and their main side effects and against-indications. Finally an overview assess current uses of the pill, despite recent scandals that did not spare women the body release symbol.
