Prise en charge des urgences obstétricales par les sapeurs-pompiers

Abstract : Firefighters are often the first responders when treating outside obstetric emergencies. The main objective of the study is to assess the readiness of the firefighters of the Manche and Calvados to obstetric emergencies by assessing their knowledge and their feelings when working with pregnant women. The secondary objective is to identify the factors that influence the knowledge and feeling of firefighters. It was a prospective and descriptive study who was conducted among 151 firefighters, It had been found that their knowledge about obstetric could be improved by the presence of a midwife.
