Pratique du scrabble et remédiations cognitives

Abstract : Since January 2011, minister of National Education has encouraged the development of games for learning at school. A year later, it signed a partenership with the French Federation of Scrabble, to give "[...] the taste of words the students." This recommendation applies to all students, and therefore also to those with impaired cognitive function. The practice of this complex brain game it allows disabled students to develop their proficiency in word spelling and self-esteem? We followed some students of 6th and 5th enrolled in ULIS device (Localized Unit School Inclusion). The experiment identified a beneficial effect of regular scrabble on knowledge in word spelling and on stimulation and mobilization of some cognitive functions.
