« Je suis toxicomane dans une foule solitaire » (Benjamin, résident d’une Communauté Thérapeutique). Le groupe thérapeutique en psychomotricité : support de l’identité du sujet dit « addicté » :

Abstract : The group structure is important in the life of the subject we call «a drug addict ». People I met during my internships belonged to the consumption group. Then, they passed from a psychoactive substance consumption which was festive and occasional to an abusive and alienating one. That is why people I met chose to enter addictology centers. As such, they were members of both systems: therapeutical groups in rehabilitation complexes, as well as members of psychomotricity groups. We can say groups play an important part in the construction of the subject's identity in general. Nonetheless, a psychoactive substance slowly creates a distance between the subject and (his/her) identity. In this report, we will focus on the addiction and its reflection upon the identity of the subject. We will also observe the place the different groups have with “addicted” subjects. Finally, we will analyze the group system in psychomotricity. Indeed, rehabilitation complex patients take great advantage of the physical work-out sessions through relaxation implemented by the psychomotrician.
