Rôles possibles du pharmacien d'officine dans la prise en charge du patient asthmatique : du conseil à la posture éducative

Abstract : Asthma is a chronic disease that has become a public health priority as a result of its high prevalence and incidence. In this context, the role of the pharmacist is central to the patient’s care. Indeed, he is accessible and knows his patients, which allow him to guide them from the diagnostic to the beginning of the treatment and throughout their follow-on care and rehabilitation. First, this work reviews the aetiology, physiopathology and treatments available for asthma. In a second phase, it lists all the therapeutic education tools available to the pharmacist to succeed in guiding the patient suffering from asthma. Therapeutic education is a discipline in its own right that requires additional training.
