Les enjeux du document écrit de l'épreuve E6 en lycée professionnel

Abstract : The professional baccalauréat is a level 4 national diploma whose the subject matters are in direct collaboration with the professional world. The validation of this diploma is based on testing general subjects and more professional subjects. The paper treats the written material that the students need to provide to present the oral test E6. To begin with I will give a brief summary of the beginning of professional studies. The characteristics of the different components of this path are the following : profiles of students, the profiles of the teachers, the structure of the texts, and the specificities of the E6 test. Afterwards, I will present the different theoretical concepts that compose the written activity. Keeping in mind that the documents written for the E6 test do not respect the vague instructions of the text of reference, the written work has been compared with the rules of the professional writing. Despite of the evident similarities, this research shows that the students have great difficulties preparing this text and the lack of clear guidelines continues in the organization of professional studies. In conclusion, this paper proposes technical guidelines to help solve this problem.
