Validation d’un test écologique de calcul (B.E.N.Q.) auprès de patients adultes cérébrolésés

Abstract : This study is a new validation of the EABN, Ecological Assessment Battery for Numbers, administered to a larger sample of 31 brain-injured patients. It confirms the construct validity, the concurrent validity and the sensitivity of the tool, with weaker patient results in performance and time of response compared to healthy subjects. The EABN highlights different numerical profiles between right brain-injured and left brain-injured patients, confirming previously published literature. We managed to demonstrate the existence of correlations between the most used cognitive and language batteries in hospitals, showing that the EABN is a good complement to those tests for numerical assessment.
