Étude technico-économique de la pépinière de la ville d'Angers et perspectives de production de plantes locales au sein de celle-ci

Abstract : This report deals with two topical concerns: maintaining public service inspite of their outsourcing; and the use of plants of local origin in urban green spaces. Thus, this study first presents the methodology and results of the technical and economic study of the ornamental horticultural production nursery in the city of Angers. It deals with all budget items, from inputs to amortization, and including labor costs. Then, the results lead to recommendations and suggestions of possible improvements for this production service. Secondly, the project of local plants production is developed. It entails devoting a part of this service to the production of genetically local plants. This approach is in line with the current industry in development, and in connection with the label Végétal Local® (Local Plant). This section will first present this new flowering policy and then deal with the adaptation of this new culture to current tools and means of production.
