La mise en place de la péridurale déambulatoire : les freins et les leviers

Abstract : Background : Ambulatory epidural allows to improve maternal satisfaction in delivery room. The aim of the study was to review a current state in Ile-de-France about this method and to identify brakes and leverages of its establishment. Methods : The study took place in the maternity hospitals of Ile-de-France in three stages : - a quantitative questionnaire was sent to executive midwives to know the opinion of the maternity hospitals - a qualitative questionnaire was sent to executive midwifes of the maternity hospitals not wishing to set up the technique, to understand the reasons, - semi-directive interviews were led with the professionals of maternity hospitals, which propose or have proposed the method, to identify brakes and leverages of its establishment. Results : In Ile-de-France, the ambulatory epidural would be offered by 4 % of maternity hospitals and 34 % would like to propose it. However, it would represent an important financial and human investment. Conclusion : The approach would require a professional and maternal implication. The success of this approach would be motivated and informed team and couples.
