Elaboration d'une épreuve de répétition de logatomes destinée au bilan de langage oral de l'enfant avec atteinte phonologique

Abstract : Phonological disorder and phonological delay correspond to two different clinical pictures but with overlapping zones. Therefore, speech pathologists have difficulties differentiating these two pathologies, delaying the implementation of a specific therapeutic project. That is why we thought it useful to develop a new non-word repetition task, based on the identification of a repetition’s impact on the quality of productions, and thus to improve the differential diagnosis between phonological delay and phonological disorder. We submitted our task to 18 children with phonological delay and 18 children with phonological suspected or diagnosed disorder, aged 5;3 years to 7;3 years. The results show different tendencies between the two groups but they do not provide a significant difference related to a repetition’s impact on the quality of productions. So, it would be interesting to improve our task to make it more sensitive.
