Restaurations adhésives de céramiques sur substrats amélo-dentinaires altérés ou anormaux

Abstract : Certain pathologies affecting dental enamel structure such as: amelogenesis imperfecta, fluorosis and MIH. They are responsible for serious alterations of the surface structure and on the enamel composition. The bonding protocols can be modified. Sodium hypochlorite is known to be an excellent protein denaturing agent. It gives an ultra structural topography more conducive to bonding by removing excess proteins that interfere with the establishment of a model of acid etching. Pretreatment with sodium hypochlorite was performed but the results are not conclusive about its effects on improving the bonding to defective enamel. A reliable and durable adhesion with a bis GMa composite is obtained by observing the surface treatment of ceramic (hydrofluoric acid + silane) and the use of an enamel-dentin adhesive pre-etch (MR2 or MR3).
