Apport des blocs de céramique hybride Enamic® Vita™ dans une réhabilitation totale chez un bruxomane sévère : présentation d'un cas clinique : Présentation d'un cas clinique

Abstract : These last years, dentistry has evolved both in respect of esthetic and biology that thanks to technological changes. Thereby, new hybrid materials appeared, composed by ceramic and composit. Their common goal is to combine ceramic’s resistance and esthetic with composit’s flexibility while allowing minimal preparations, ensuring the preservation of mineralized tissues, substrates of bonding technicals. Their intrinsic qualities suggest expanded indications and we usued one of these materials to rehabilitate a severly worn teeth from bruxism. Their mechanical properties are closer to the natural tooth, the matrix resin renders the material less brittle than ceramics and better wear resistance than composits. Combination of adhesive and minimally invasive technologies associated with the use of this material suggest new indications with satisfactory results confirmed at medium term. More clinicalexperienceisrequired for a final validation.
