Application des psychothérapies mindfulness au traitement du trouble obsessionnel-compulsif : revue des connaissances et mise en place d'un protocole expérimental

Abstract : Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a frequent and severe disease, leading to impairment for the patient and his family. Recent research in psychiatry and neuroscience led to better comprehension of disease’s mechanisms and helped to improve the treatment. However, a large quantity of patients show a resistance to the existent therapeutics, leading the practitioners to try find new treatments. The mindfulness psychotherapy is a new type of therapy developed successfully in some psychiatric diseases, such generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and depression. Its action relies on the specific correction of cognitive caracteristics shared by OCD, GAD and depression. This thesis proposes a review of the existing literature about OCD and mindfulness psychotherapy, hypothesis on the mechanism of action of this therapy in OCD, and finally presents the results of a clinical studies aiming to prove the interest of the use of mindfulness in OCD.
