Détermination et validation d’une méthodologie destinée à estimer numériquement l’évolution de la température des composants avoisinants le ralentisseur électrique d’un véhicule industriel

Abstract : A methodology, to estimate the component temperatures surrounding an electrical retarder of an industrial vehicle, has been established. Referring to some tests done with a real vehicle, the methodology was defined and validated. First, powers relating to the advancement and retaining of a vehicle are explained and calculated. Then we had demonstrated the estimated rotor temperature versus time, the hot springs of our numerical model. Finally, several coupled calculations were used to adjust the characteristics of the parts of the model. Outside the frame rails, a high dispersion seen during tests can’t validate the results of calculations. In the back of the electric retarder, some optimizations are necessary because results of the calculations do not reproduce tests results. However for most of sensitive parts, the temperature trend corroborates well with those observed in tests. Calculation results from the methodology of the retaining power, the evolution of the temperature of the rotors and the temperature evolution of the most components are convincing.
