Influence d'un système de régulation automatique du temps d'exposition sur l'optimisation des doses en radiographie intra-orale

Abstract : The ALARA concept optimisation, has an important part in radiology. A low dose patient exposure and good image quality had to be expected. The X-Mind Unity® provides an ACE technologie (automatic exposure control). We compare X-Mind Unity® to three others generators concerning the dose absorbed and the image quality. With PolyMethyl-MethAcrylat (PMMA) phantom, we evaluate for each generators the absorbed dose and the image quality. ACE technologie activation présent a reproductibility in absorbed dose and image quality when the time exposure pre-programed is surestimated. With the X-Mind Unity® we can expect a good image quality with a dose reduction and avoid overexposure.
