Modélisation et simulations d’un moteur piézoélectrique à onde progressive

Abstract : The functionality of a piezoelectric sensor is by deformation of an elastic structure. This structure is made of electro-active composite materials, capable of communicating a uniform adhesion driving motion to a movable part, which deforms under the effect of an electric voltage or vice versa. From this reversibility several applications that falls within the field of electrical engineering, are possible. The diversity of this physical phenomena involved has led, in previous research, to the development of many models, including the identification equivalents electromagnetic patterns or operation of theoretical models based on numerical approaches based on finite element analysis. This study proposes the modeling and simulation of piezoelectric motor with progressive waves. Finally, a numerical model is presented to model and simulate the contact between the stator and the rotor within the motor.
