Les conceptions des enseignants du premier degré sur le lien entre l’EPS et l’éducation à la santé

Abstract : The second oral test of the competition to become a primary school teacher aims at determining candidates‘ knowledge about the link between physical education and health education. We have focused our attention on this link. Our first researches enabled us to claim that the contribution of physical education is very large and can’t be reduced to physical health. Indeed, physical education improves personal, social and civic skills and thus contributes actively to health education. This contribution is largest than what we expected, and thanks to this fact, our problematic was born : what are the representations of primary school teachers on the link between physical education and health education ? We have lead four interviews with primary school teachers in order to validate or invalidate our hypothesis : primary school teachers think physical education contributes to health education only thanks to the fact it enables pupils to have physical activity.
