Comment peut-on améliorer le port de la Protection Intra-Buccale dans la pratique du rugby ?

Abstract : The practice of sport can be the origine of mouth and dental injuries, notably in contact sports. Rugby is a high-risk sport; contacts are numerous and violent. Today, the best way to lessen the risk of mouth and dental injuries is the use of mouthguard protections (MG). The goal of MG is to protect soft and hard tissues and reduce the risk of cervical injuries. According to research, education of players, trainers, dentists and parents is indispensable regarding MG. For these reasons, we have made an explanatory pamphlet destined for the players, which explains the different MG's available, but also the different criteria needed for maximum protection.
