Expressions spécifiques désignant des comportements dans le roman policier

Abstract : This master's thesis aims to carry out a quantitative and qualitative analysis of expressions describing specific behaviors of the characters in the crime novel. It is the expressions which recurrence is statistically significant. Once the specific structures detected, we proceed to identify recurring patterns associated with these expressions by making observations concerning the extensions on the phrase level as well as the variations on the paradigmatic level. Depending on the different elements that accompany the structures, we try to classify them as collocations, colligations, patterns. Finally, the expressions are analyzed on the semantic, syntactic and pragmatic levels.
