Mise en évidence de différents critères de fragilité selon la qualité de la récupération fonctionnelle chez des patients pris en charge en service de soins de suite et réadaptation gériatrique pour une fracture de l’extrémité supérieure du fémur traitée chirurgicalement

Abstract : The main objective of this study was to describe criteria of frailty in persons who didn’t recover their autonomy, walking ability and didn’t return back home after hip fracture with surgical treatment despite three weeks in geriatric rehabilitation unit. This prospective, descriptive and mono centric study inclued 25 patients. A first evaluation was made on admission and allowed to describe frailty criteria. Then, after three weeks, functional rehabilitation was evaluated. We noticed that patients who didn’t recover their previous walking ability were older than 80 years, undernourished, whith low hand grip test score. Patients who didn’t return back home were mostly men older than 80 years old, undernourished, with low hand grip test score, socially isolated and with altered autonomy and walking ability prior to fracture. Patients who didn’t recover autonomy were older than 80 years, undernourished with low score in hand grip test.
