Abstract : Although the Internet can be seen as a mass medium, it is also seen as a tool or means of disseminating a culture seen as "elitist" art knowledge available to us usually within museums (works, objects…). This may seem contradictory since this culture is strongly linked to the museum structure has a certain "sacred aura". Furthermore, we see developing increasingly. Museum page on social networks. These pages are managed, organized and updated actively. Why do museums that integrate popular communication tool? The heart of social networks is the interaction between individual, community creation. We can wonder if the museum entrance on Facebook is part of an evolving concerns to the issue of public and what issues of mediation and communication does it raise? By observing four museum of Facebook pages, we have tried to answer this question.
