Vers une composition de la France urbaine pour limiter le mitage agricole

Abstract : The city of today experiences a growing development at the expense of agricultural and natural lands recede. The fight against an excessive consumption of these spaces is a major challenge of the twenty-first century especially in the ongoing context of population growth in France. This work proposes to reverse the look and to continue the urbanization of the cities starting with its fringes. For this, planning documents play an essential role by their possibility of identification and development of the fringes. Different case studies including one of a municipality which agricultural land is in danger will illustrate this point.
